and it never will. crap. i haven’t done a post like this in so long and i was reminded the other day by seeing one of my old posts like this. why? . people on the internet suck. i was asked if “ i work out anymore” and “ how come i’m not thin anymore” because of a video that my lower belly popped out a bit 😂

let me tell you something. it’s called some skin and yes some belly “fat” because i’m f*****g normal. we legit all of body fat. we need body fat. so many of us get hung up on “ lower belly fat” ( we all have this. it is the most stubborn area to lose f*t ) .. i have it. i have cellulite. ( majority of women have this ) . i have stretch marks. i have saggy skin from my two kids. .

the outside pictures show me trying to get a picture perfect angle of myself. ( after 100 takes and getting the right angle and lightening ). i am not perfect, nor will i ever be. i don’t claim to be. take social media pictures and everything you see online with a grain of salt and stop being so h*****n yourself.

many of us show our better sides and angles but not all of us show the raw, the real, the “flaws”. the best thing you can do for yourself is just stop comparing ( i know this is hard), take care of yourself and your body and live a healthy lifestyle. .

All the rolls! 🥖 i’ve pretty much always had a roll that forms on my arms (above the inner elbow) when i bend them. today i realized i didn’t have it anymore! i’m still sitting on that spot on the floor in my post workout laziness and looking down at my arms as i type missing my wittle arm wroll 💖 look at my fingers! i think this is my favorite before/after so far even though both have terrible lighting lol

- 2014 : i had just graduated college. i was around 350 pounds or so maybe more. i try tons of fab diets, but nothing ever stuck.
2015: i ended up losing some weight after college but after i broke my ankle i had gain even more weight back. i had made it to 420 pounds.
2016: after the many medical issues and fail attempts to lose weight i knew i needed to fix my health. at 420 pounds i started a journey that would change my life. from all my pass failed attempts i knew where i went wrong. this wasnt a diet this was going to be a lifestyle change. so started tracking my food intake and exercising daily.
2017 : in 2017 i was down over 200 pounds from 2016. all my hard work had paid off. i continue to make tracking my food and the gym part of my life.
2018: i had to come to the realization that i was at maintenance and i was no longer was overweight. i just had loose skin. i didnt need to lose anymore weight.
2019: ive manage to continue my healthy lifestyle and stay in maintenance. i track my calories randomly sometimes and workout 5 times a week.
through this whole journey ive learned alot of things. 1. weightloss takes time. 2. doesnt matter how much you exercise you cant out run if your over eating your calories.
3. losing weight all about calories in vs calories burn
4. losing weight is hard but not giving up is harder!💪❤

✨keto instant p*t cheesecake✨
•
✨ingredients for crust✨
1 cup almond flour
2.5t butter (melted)
2t sweetener of choice (i used @lakanto golden)
1/2tsp vanilla
•
line & spray a 6 inch cake pan.
mix everything together. add to your pan. push down to form a crust.
set aside, i stick mine in the refrigerator till i’m ready for it.
•
✨ingredients for cheesecake filling ✨
16 ounces room temp cream cheese
2 eggs + 1 yolk room temp
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup + 2t sweetener of choice
1tsp vanilla
1tsp sea salt
•
cream together your softened cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, sweetener, vanilla, & sea salt.
taste test for sweetness, add more if you want it sweeter. i’ve noticed that you want to over sweet baking dishes because the sweet bakes out of it. (if that makes sense)
now, add your eggs + yolk and mix them in.
*note do not over mix. you just want to incorporate the eggs in.
add to your crust pan. add a cut of paper towel to the top (collects moisture). then cover with foil, tightly.
•
to your instant p*t add 1.5 cups of water and your trivet. place your cheesecake on top, close your instant pot.
set on manual mode 45 minutes, & 18 minutes natural pressure release.
once done it will be a little jiggly that’s ok. it’ll set over night and come it perfect 👌🏻

✨topping✨
1/2 cup sour cream
2tsp sweetener (more if you like sweeter)
1/2tsp vanilla
once cheesecake is done add this mixture to hot cheesecake.

place on fridge for at least 24 hours. less if you’re impatient 🙈😋
•

💥baking it in an oven instead💥
same directions with crust and filling.
preheat over to 350 & bake for 35-45 minutes. till the center is slightly jiggly only. let cool, then place in fridge overnight.

Let’s talk menu. i get a lot of messages asking me what i eat in a day to stay in ketosis. well, it’s underwhelming. i am one of those odd people that doesn’t need variety. every morning i eat the exact same thing. 3 eggs with cheese and an avocado. lunch is my biggest meal, i always eat arugula salad, grilled asparagus or zucchini with some kind of meat (usually a hamburger patty or grilled chicken) i then snack when ever i feel hungry (usually on almonds or macadamia nuts... sometime cottage cheese) that’s it! then i begin my fast at 6 pm. i drink lots of water until i go to sleep at around 10 pm. i drink coffee at 8 am and i end my fast at 11 am. that’s it! no magic, no fancy diet... just clean whole organic foods. i waved bye bye to anything processed or packaged a long time ago. this is 60 lbs gone my friend. it can be done! i’m always asked how i have the will power... well when you see results like this in 4 months, it powers you!!!! what are you waiting for? if weight loss and healthy is something you’ve always wanted, wished for, and dreamed about, then today is the day to start!!!

You need to eat carbs! are you avoiding carbs because your metabolism is so low that you can’t ever seem to lose weight? yeah, i’ve done that, too.
a better strategy is low carb intake and carb cycling. try eating whole grain carbs and increasing the amount by 20-25% for one week every 4-5 weeks. you can also try cutting carbs out for a few days to jolt your body. just don’t cut them out completely!
this keeps your body from getting too comfortable and your #metabolism stuck.

fruit juice is just as unhealthy as a sugary soda. fruit juice is often perceived as healthy.

that's understandable, given that it is natural and has the word "fruit" in it.

however... what many people fail to realize is that fruit juice is also loaded with sugar.
⠀
in fact, fruit juice contains just as much sugar and calories as a sugary soft drink... and sometimes even more!
⠀
the small amounts of vitamins and antioxidants in the juice do not make up for the large amount of sugar.
⠀
the fruit juice you find at the supermarket may not be what you think it is... even if it's labelled as "100% pure" and "not from concentrate." after being squeezed from the fruit, the juice is usually stored in massive oxygen-depleted holding tanks for up to a year before it is packaged.
⠀
the main problem with this method is that it tends to remove most of the flavor, so the manufacturers need to add so-called "flavor packs" to the juice, to bring back the flavor that was lost during processing.
⠀
so even if you're buying the highest quality juices at the supermarket, they are still far from their original state.
⠀
some of the lowest quality ones don't even resemble fresh-squeezed fruit juice at all... they are basically just fruit-flavored sugar water.
⠀
instead of juice, eat your fruit whole. that way, you also get all the fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals found naturally in the fruit.
⠀
overall, drinking fruit juice in small amounts may be okay for some individuals, but people need to realize that despite the health halo, fruit juice really is very similar to sugary soda.

most importantly, your liver can't tell the difference. all of the harmful effects of sugary drinks also apply to fruit juice. ⠀
best thing to do is stick to drinking water 😅.

christmas mini family photoshoot today... my anxiety was off the wall about it. “what if i can’t get up on the tailgate?” “what if i break the tailgate?” “can the make up artists chair hold me?” “ugh, a full pic body pic... how can i hide half of me?”... i absolutely hate seeing myself in pictures (unless it’s just a head shot like these). i am anxious to see how the pictures turned out and i am praying the photographer does not post horrible pictures of me on their facebook page. i cannot wait until i no longer have to think this way. literally, my whole life i have been “obese”. from a toddler, to a child, preteen to adult. i don’t even know how it feels to look at a full body pic and love the way i look. i don’t know how it feels to not have to pre plan angles, ways to hide my body, or to just throw on one outfit and go with it... today i planned to wear black “leather” tights, a red tank top and a black cardigan over it and i did but... i ended up never taking off my jacket. i wasn’t comfortable. every single time i go out, doesn’t matter what i’m doing, i find myself pre planning for whatever possible obstacles i will face as a plus size woman. and in all honesty- i believe no one would ever fully understand this irrational thinking unless they’ve been here before, obese. .

Daily goal is to lose 1kg (2.2lbs) a day. i just have to eat less...smaller portion sizes and healthier food. exercise when i can. no easy way to get to the gym at the moment.
💧 our bodies are made up of over 60 percent water. blood is 92 percent water, the brain and muscles around 75 percent water and bones around 22 percent water. so can you see why drinking enough h20 is important?

✔ main mechanism for excreting toxins and waste from the body

🚰 a human being can survive around a month or more without eating food but only a week or so without drinking water.

1⃣ by the time you feel thirsty your body has already lost over 1 per cent of its total water. hunger is also sometimes not a need for food but a need for water! dehydration and thirst causes hunger pangs.

🍔 8oz grassfed ground beef
🧀 28g shredded cheese
🥑 1/4 avocado on pepper!
🍳 optional scrambled eggs inside pepper!

1⃣ all you have to do is is chop open the pepper with a hole in the middle!
2⃣ then fill with any and all ingredients you’d like to put in there!
3⃣ cook in the oven at 375 degrees for about 30 min. but eye ball it with what you think is best!
4⃣ then top it with guacamole and optional jalepeno!
5⃣ ready to go!

😂i never intended this outfit to be a progress outfit. i just refused to wear anything more revealing back when i weighed 240 pounds. i didn’t plan to take photos of myself that day, it just kind of happened. i was feeling disgusted with myself & knew that i was getting close to my breaking point & that soon i was going to change. so i forced myself to get up, go to the mirror in whatever i was wearing, and take pictures. i wish i would have taken more before photos, in something that showed more of my arms & back, but that’s ok. i was trying to do things at my pace in my way this time, so my method was to be as stress-free as possible & just relax. that’s why i kept it a secret for months & why i don’t truly have before photos. whatever you need to do to be successful, do that. just make sure it is safe & that you are following your heart & what you believe in ❤️ i’ll be celebrating all day today with pictures!

on the left you can tell how absolutely uncomfortable i was. i was wearing yoga pants in the blistering heat & was even scared to wear this tank top my mom had bought me because no matter how much i tried to stretch it out, it was still super tight on me.
on the right, i’m feeling much more comfortable & actually wear this top more often without trying to destroy the seams. it’s crazy to see how different someone can look int 3 years time.
i’m very proud i finally put myself first in the midst of the chaos we call life.

just because you haven’t seen the number on the scale move doesn’t mean you are not seeing results!

this is why it’s so important to take progress pictures and measurements as well! just because you didn’t lose weight on the scale this week doesn’t mean you are not seeing positive changes in your body!

there are some clients i work with that weigh the same after the nine weeks but in their progress pictures they look completely different, so this just proves there are other ways to measure!

don’t get disappointed if lbs are not dropping off, trust the process and results will come!

I know, ive been mia. but haven’t we all the last 2 weeks? we have traveled back to my home town, had family come in from new york, seattle and texas- so basically in a nutshell we have been slammed in my household 🤯 but what i came here for is my thanksgiving 2017 - 2019 #transformation i will never not be amazed by how much weight loss has changed my face. like, where did that chin go??? not only my chin but i have been asked by people in person and online about a nose job and lip injections? ya girl is stingy and not about to spend $$ on facial work. so, no. no surgery has been performed on my face, although i would love to get my eyebrows tattooed on. i’m tired of filling them in everyday .

✨keto instant p*t cheesecake✨
•
✨ingredients for crust✨
1 cup almond flour
2.5t butter (melted)
2t sweetener of choice (i used @lakanto golden)
1/2tsp vanilla
•
line & spray a 6 inch cake pan.
mix everything together. add to your pan. push down to form a crust.
set aside, i stick mine in the refrigerator till i’m ready for it.
•
✨ingredients for cheesecake filling ✨
16 ounces room temp cream cheese
2 eggs + 1 yolk room temp
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup + 2t sweetener of choice
1tsp vanilla
1tsp sea salt
•
cream together your softened cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, sweetener, vanilla, & sea salt.
taste test for sweetness, add more if you want it sweeter. i’ve noticed that you want to over sweet baking dishes because the sweet bakes out of it. (if that makes sense)
now, add your eggs + yolk and mix them in.
*note do not over mix. you just want to incorporate the eggs in.
add to your crust pan. add a cut of paper towel to the top (collects moisture). then cover with foil, tightly.
•
to your instant p*t add 1.5 cups of water and your trivet. place your cheesecake on top, close your instant pot.
set on manual mode 45 minutes, & 18 minutes natural pressure release.
once done it will be a little jiggly that’s ok. it’ll set over night and come it perfect 👌🏻

✨topping✨
1/2 cup sour cream
2tsp sweetener (more if you like sweeter)
1/2tsp vanilla
once cheesecake is done add this mixture to hot cheesecake.
•
place on fridge for at least 24 hours. less if you’re impatient 🙈😋
•

💥baking it in an oven instead💥
same directions with crust and filling.
preheat over to 350 & bake for 35-45 minutes. till the center is slightly jiggly only. let cool, then place in fridge overnight.

🙌🏻 well i haven’t shared this “before” photo anywhere and i wasn’t sure if i was ever going to. 🙈🙈🙈 some of you may know my story, many of you don’t....but let’s just say i got into the best shape of my life about 2 years ago, and then last year, lost sight of my own goals. i stopped being as vigilant with my product use, i wasn’t eating the way i knew i needed to, and i wasn’t exercising often...i don’t want to say i got lazy, but i just lost my commitment!

this one/80 has been everything to me. i fell in love with the process again, i wasn’t striving for anything besides just pushing myself up the priority list again. i wasn’t super strict, i wasn’t obsessive, i had lots of fun in the mix, but i knew i wasn’t giving up! in fact i’m never giving up again! i really feel like i’ve found my “lifestyle” this time. the long haul. nothing will change tomorrow on day 81 because nothing has to!

since january 8th i’ve lost 13lbs,, 6% body fat, and inches galore!! the best part is i feel fantastic!!! i’m not ashamed of that before photo anymore because i know exactly where i’m headed! thankful every day for advocare and the positive support community i have. i’m so excited to keep going, so excited to celebrate your stories, and so excited to keep helping others make positive changes in their lives day in and day out. cheers to the next 80 days and beyond.
