“thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions. it seems like a lot of people aren’t willing to say what they’re actually doing to achieve results.” .
tell me if this sounds familiar: you’ve been working at your business for years now, and you finally started creating the biz you always dreamed of. just as your revenue spiked, so did the dms/emails/texts asking what you were doing. “how are you growing so fast?” “how did you land so many clients?” “tell me your secrets girl!”
now you have 2 options:
1. you brush everyone off and give them a round about answer. if you even respond to their question that is.
2. you tell them exactly how you landed so many clients, where they’re located and which platforms you used to find these clients. .
so often entrepreneurs stick with the first option instead of the second, due to a scarcity mindset. we forget that no one can pitch the way that we do. that no one can convey a message, create content or write copy like you and your team. we are so afraid that the space we work in is limited that we hide all of our secrets to success at our chest. here’s the thing girl, yes you have worked freakin hard to get where you are! if people are knocking at your door asking questions, open it up. this could be an opportunity to pivot your business and start adding value. i’m not saying you have to give all of your tactics away, but why not sprinkle them with a few and then offer your consulting/coaching/course for the rest. start viewing these conversations as opportunities to serve, pivot and create a revenue stream you hadn’t thought of before.
