yes... just my #ootd - #seamworkneenah by @seamworkmag in a graphic cotton knit from @darncheapfabrics , layered under one of my favourite rtw pieces, this cute vest from @zara (from 2013, toronto). isn’t the back amazing... and not just in a fabric-saving, possibly scrap busting kind of way?
clay necklace by @bridgetbodenham - it instantly transforms bleah to yeah... only trouble is having to endure toddler j ask repeatedly why i’m not wearing the necklace she made.
My first go at bralette making this weekend. i tried the #jordybralette and the #barrettbralette, both made out of whatever scraps i had lying around. of the two, the barrett is the winner for fit and comfort - now i just need to figure out how to add a back closure and foam padding before i make 10 more. i also made a #seamworkneenah out of some bamboo jersey from my stash and nine pairs of scrap u****s that i’ve been desperately in need of 💪🏼 #scrapbusting#sewyourstash#canadasews#memade#handmadewardrobe

April marks the end of #sewhappycolor and thus melbourne, under profound pantone duress over the last month, can now officially return to countless deathly hues of 🖤black🖤... #sewhappyprint though, will forever rulez, like in this graphic cotton knit from @darncheapfabrics . i know at least one more melburnian @shesewsalot celebrating in this fabric, except she couldn’t wait and did it 4 days earlier 👻😜👻 check her amazing feed if you are a disbelieving dingo!
#ootd pattern is the #seamworkneenah by @seamworkmag , i’ve made this 3 times and it is a real wear-to-work staple. mock turtleneck to hide fine lines/double chin, silhouette-skimming without being too tight, and excellent for layering - essential for our capricious weather.
