— the long hollow story —
for those friends and family outside of nashville, many of you may not know about a project i was privileged to be a part of recently. the church i work for is celebrating its 40th anniversary. to commemorate, the film team i work with and many others on our creative team made a feature-length documentary telling the story of our church. it’s by far the most ambitious film project most of us have ever worked on, and after months of work, it’s finally out there for people to see.
i was the director of photography for the film, which means for the majority of what you see on screen, i was the guy holding (or flying) the camera. i learned a lot from the experience, and i’m proud of the work our team and i did. it was awesome to hear all that god has brought our church through the last 40 years from the people we interviewed, and i’ve loved hearing how this story of god’s faithfulness has impacted so many of the people who have seen the film.
if you’ve got a free hour and a half or some room on your movie list, check out the long hollow story at the link in my bio! i think even those not familiar with the church will find it interesting and an awesome illustration of how much god loves his people and his church. [link in bio]
