for me, going vegan was the best thing i've ever done on so many levels. there are too many reasons to list why i believe in following a cruelty free plant based diet and lifestyle.
initially, because i love all animals. then learning leads to more learning about the atrocities that animals suffer at the hands of man and once you know you can't go back. it's better for the planet and everyone on it in.
that's up to you i guess, there's @weareveganuary or some people start trying less meat, or cutting out dairy, or go veggie first or make the complete switch in one go! why not give it a try, you might love it!
hand on heart i feel better than ever, more healthy, more aligned with nature, less guilty and happier so no. the issues i have trouble personally is the negativity towards cruelty free diets or coming to terms with the scale of the suffering animals get put through every single day. but, you know what they say, be the change! 🙏
I have way too much fun shopping for food 🤓 & farmers markets are by far the most fun. we stopped by the market after a killer body pump class to snag some goods & ended up with a backseat full of fresh flowers 💐 i tried to resist but they are just too beautiful. decorating my house with flowers is the best self care 🤸🏼♀️
made a full market plate right after —> tomatoes, eggs, greens, peaches, sourdough with local cinnamon honey and blackberries, avocado, @sietefoods hot sauce, bacon, & lavender goat cheese.
