Who else loves healthy pastel smoothies??🙌 one of my favorite ways to get that soft pastel color (plus a ton of nutrients) is by using soaked buckwheat! ever since i discovered this trick 3-4 years ago i've been hooked! love the creamy texture it adds to smoothies plus all the incredible health benefits 👊🏼
buckwheat is #glutenfree and a great source of complete protein and a variety of essential nutrients such as iron, vit c, b, e and fiber to name a few 💪
soaking buckwheat groats in warm water and apple cider vinegar helps reduce the antinutrients such as phytic acid that slow down the absorption of minerals and makes them easier to digest 👊 (if you'd like to learn more about soaking check out my story highlights ☝️).
here's this delicious recipe for you to try. hope you enjoy 💗
raspberry mint smoothie:
🌼1/2 cup raw buckwheat groats, soaked overnight in warm water and a tsp of apple cider vinegar, then rinsed and drained
🌼1/2 cup non-dairy milk
🌼2 tsp ground flax seeds.
🌼1-2 tsp maca powder (optional)
blended until smooth.
for the green layer, to half the smoothie i added:
🍃handful of spinach.
🍃handful of fresh mint leaves.
blended some more till smooth and poured it into a cup.
for the pink layer, to the rest of the smoothie added:
🌸1/2 cup raspberries
blended until smooth and poured on top of the green layer.

Hemp seed ranch is here 🙌🏻 i haven’t had ranch in years, so i don’t recall the taste as much. but ranch lovers, let me know! (&& yes, it’s dairy free) deets: i shredded kale in the food processor to make it fine, and i added baked cajun chickpeas, and topped it off with h**p seed ranch dressing. (i used @freshjax cajun seasoning) happy friday 😍 it’s a long weekend for the fam over here. the extra day with the husband is always welcomed! lol have the best day!
hemp seed vegan ranch: 1/3 c of h**p seeds, 1/4 c of filtered water, 1 tbsp of dry dill, 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 1 tbsp of green onion, and garlic. mix in a food processor till it’s creamy, and done👏🏻 #_afreshpurefood

oatmeal this morning was the same as yesterday except different toppings. i used mango and berries this morning after getting a fresh batch of strawberries that taste like candy. perfect for my sweet tooth at the moment. sipping on some tea now and then heading to my last round of clients. super pumped. 🙌🏽✨
