#throwbackthursday to my last pro show in april in utica, ny🙌🏻 little did i know i already had two little babies growing inside me☺️🙈in march, my husband and i went to celebrate one of my besties weddings in jamaica so i had no intention on prepping for this show the end of april. i mean jamaica, no kids, all inclusive resort, champagne 🍾 campaign, did i mention jamaica and no kids hahah ya feel me 😝 lol, but no being fit is my lifestyle and even on vacation i didn’t just eat like i have never seen food before. i hit my workouts in the most amazing gym, not because i had to because i truly wanted too. that’s my time for me and vacation or not i’m going to get in my workout. #itsalifestyle 🙌🏻 i was eating 3,000 calories daily prior to leaving so i definitely was able to be flexible and not track to a t while still enjoying myself! truly had the time of my life and my husband and i hadn’t been to jamaica since our honeymoon 6 years prior and always wanted to go back!! anyways, after we got home i did a check in with my coach and the show was brought up. i was like ooohhhhh😍 i might just have to do it! if the opportunity is there i’m not one to pass it up. it was always planned to try for a baby #3 after jamaica so i talked with trav and he supported me doing this one last show. two weeks into prep on april’s fools day i got my period😂last one was when i conceived knox in jan of 2016! i was completely freaking ecstatic because it took longer after i stopped nursing jax. i nursed knox for 15 months right up until the end of feb and never got it while nursing (same thing with my first son and this was before i even competed, your girl just has a totally messed up system thanks to bc for 10 years- had to be said because yes, sometimes people who compete lose their cycle but not everyone and not me, i never had a regular one long before i even started to compete!!) i just remember being so happy that i got it so soon after nursing and was excited to be able to start trying. little did i know it wouldn’t take long this time... 🙈i noticed some spider veins popping out a few days after the show which i always get when i’m pregnant and that super tired feeling⬇️

Slowly but surely gaining confidence in my #squat post competition season. this is my first day going over 300lbs in a long time. --------------------------------------
did 315 for 15 sets of 1. why? because i didn't feel like doing 3-5 sets of multiple reps would go well with how i feel physically and current lack of recovery from poor sleep. so i just found a way to get the volume in. finished this workout off with front squats and weighted back extensions. it was not a day of high volume.
Throwing it back to stage shape. for me, when i first see my stage photos i'm happy love the way i look... then i'm making my list of what i want to improve. it's not that i don't love my body or have self image struggles, for me it's about constant self improvements. yes, i'm proud of all i've accomplished so far, but i also know i'm capable of so much more and i'm not ready to throw in the towel yet. there is always room to improve in all aspects of life. i love this journey, this lifestyle and all it's taught me. when we stop learning is when we are dead. @crystallynnfit
