It finally feels like spring here in nyc (sixties and sunny!!), so my green #squaresaskewquilt feels very seasonally appropriate today 🌳🌱🌿🌳 (the free pattern for this outline version and the solid color block is available via link in bio!)
I really enjoy making kaleidoscope arrangements with our patches! thinking of doing some prints of these arrangements, or even just larger scale wall hangings...which i’ve been talking about doing forever. would y’all be interested in something like that? #bettertogether#dietryingtx

Working on some sketches to send to a customer for some planters. it is fun to use a white paint pen to mimic the sgraffito carving designs. i love the way the white lines contrast the black background and move your eye around. #einamade#sketches

Part of my @smithsoniancraftshowsswc booth. we are packing it up today and heading to dc in the morning. it’s helpful to have it laid out ahead of time- deciding how to arrange pots and glass always takes us a while. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
today is my birthday and i’m 40. 🎉
String of pearls have a reputation for being real easy to kill. but i’ve found that as long as you don’t overwater them, they’re not hard at all and they grow really quickly! here’s a couple tips for y’all. .
1) hang your pearls in the brightest window in your house, in a planter with drainage. don’t plant it in too big of a planter.
2) add a bunch of perlite to your potting soil (at least 1/3 perlite).
3) water only when the pearls start to shrivel and get slightly squishy. don’t wait til they’re completely shriveled up though. .
