I will only say this once. and this is something i stand by whole heartedly.
through most of my years of life that have been filled with playing in sport and working out, even working in fitness and performance field.. i honestly have to say that i have grown so much over the past few years working more in depth on my mental health. really wish i did more when i was playing softball in college and playing competitively. maybe i did every now and then and didn't even realize it.
and i urge you to do the same.
no matter how long you work out or what you are playing... if you do not have a good mental standing with yourself you are doing yourself an in-service. if you are having trouble with anything that could hinder your mental state you are hurting yourself in the end. if you do not love and want to do good for yourself you are hurting you and those around you.
if you need help get it. if you have a question ask it. etc and the list goes on.
read, seek, listen, grow, believe, love, live, give......
at the end of the day you have to be good with you regardless.
