This is coming out at a perfect time. this is the film that captures the struggle of traumatic brain injury in the most realistic way. this will change the way we operate regarding war fighters dealing with their issues. i had the opportunity to see it at an early screening. the director is the screen writer for american sniper. this story is based on the book of the same title by david finkel. i had the honor of interviewing the director jason hall, and army combat veteran adam schumann of the 2-16 infantry battalion who was the focus of the movie. movie is released at the end of the month the interviews were incredible 🇺🇸 #repost@thankyouforyourservicemovie (@get_repost)

Finally healed up from a minor surgery and i’ve save up enough cash to upgrade my home gym the way i want to so i don’t have to go to the rac for every little thing. the temperature’s dropping below 70 degrees at night so, as far as i’m concerned, winter’s basically here. that means it’s bulk season bitches! time to get those gains in before 2018. still swimming and running to reach my ultimate goals: 5 mi under 40 min, complete 5 pool laps in full kit, box @cal_irb3 and actually win at least once before we both die of old age... that kinda shit. huge shout out to @cronusfit though for the workouts @jdadkison for the motivation. i you’re trying to find your inner operator and become a pipe-hitter, you can start by following these guys. break your body for brothers. you never know when they’ll need you. #dopt#isisdoes#goruck#infantry#usarmy#rpft#bufffat#gottodobetter#liftlikejesusiswatching#forrealtho#alliwannadoiskillterrorists
🇮🇶 iraq 2007.
this 18 year old version of me, couldn’t possibly have fathomed where he would be today. the places he would travel to around the world. the experiences, both good and bad. the endless hurdles. so many obstacles he would spend the rest of his life overcoming.
it’s incredibly humbling, looking back on everything. and i’m grateful for it all.
