I thought a lot about posting this pictures, not b.c i was embarrassed of the way I looked before but b.c most people that know me, know I always been very healthy and disciplined w. working out.. but I decided to post this for the same reason... many people think that i always been in shape, been healthy and a gym addict and I am here to tell you that hasn’t always been the case... I’ve also let my self get out of shape, been lazy, and not care of what I eat. I’m officially in winter break!! I finally got some time to do some grocery shopping and it felt great! I try to eat as clean as possible and I get stuff that are organic and non gmo, and guess what, I paid around $100 for all of these, which would normally cost much more. It can be made with any combination of vegetables and any additional protein desired. My son loves his with egg, broccoli, snow peas and carrots. In this one, I also threw in some mushrooms and mung bean sprouts because I had some in the fridge..

Ale tak na poważnie, to chyba warto Wam się czasem pokazać, choćby po to, żeby przypomnieć, że za tymi wszystkimi omletami i fancy miseczkami stoi człowiek - i to nieco większy niż kilka miesięcy temu 😊 Ostatnie dni to bardzo dużo zmian z dobrego, na inne... ale chyba jeszcze lepsze. W tym roku pierwszy raz od ponad 3 lat nie boję się świąt - tak, wiem jak to brzmi. To jest jak upuszczenie potężnego łańcucha związanego na szyi i rękach, kiedy myśląc o świętach widzisz choinkę, niepowtarzalną iluminację świec, które tego dnia płoną jakby innym ogniem. Słyszysz świąteczne piosenki i w tym całym chaosie widzisz ludzi. Ludzie są w tym wszystkim najważniejsi i to, że po tylu latach wreszcie to dostrzegłem, to jedna z rzeczy, z których jestem dumny i których kiedyś bym nie zrozumiał. Czy wrzucam na luz w święta? Meh, ciężko to określić w ten sposób. Look at how colourful this is - colourful food to me means taste, variety, vitamins, minerals, health, happiness. Yes, an almond croissant or pain au chocolate also brings me happiness, but not every day. Just on the occasional weekend. All this variety of phytonutrients are going to feed my gut and help me build friendly bacteria for a strong immune system. If your diet is beige, then sadly your gut is going to produce bad bacteria from too much starch and sugar and guess what? Yes, you’re probably going to know about it by feeling a little bit rubbish, flat, have low energy and will probably experience more sickness/coughs/colds than you’d like. Or not! Vanilla Tarts with Fresh Raspberries, Pistachios & Coconut✨ this recipe is super easy to make and so yummy! These healthy, vegan, no-bake/raw, gluten free, refined sugar free Tarts are bursting with delicious sweet vanilla flavour thanks to @heilalavanilla Natural Vanilla Extract🙌🏼 I absolutely love vanilla and use it in almost every sweet recipe I create, who else? Heilala Vanilla is available from Woolworths which is super convenient! I'll pop the recipe for these below. They would be perfect for Christmas! Vanilla Tarts
makes two
base
1/2 cup almonds
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1 tbsp rice malt syrup
1/8 tsp @heilalavanilla natural vanilla extract
filing
1/2 cup solid full fat coconut cream, from a refrigerated can (minimum 24 hours in the fridge)
3/4 tbsp rice malt syrup
1 tsp melted coconut oil
1 tsp @heilalavanilla natural vanilla extract
to decorate
raspberries
pistachios
shredded coconut

In a food processor, process the almonds and coconut until a fine meal is achieved. Add the rice malt syrup and process again to combine. The mixture should be sticky enough to hold together when pressed between your fingers, if it's not just add a tsp of rice malt and process again. Press into tart moulds.
Mix together your filling ingredients until completely combined and smooth. Divide into the tart bases. Place in the fridge to firm up. Decorate with fresh raspberries, pistachios and coconut, or anything you wish. Enjoy!

Not a pretty presentation but this was sooooooooo good 😍Packed with carbs, fats and protein 🙌🏼 INGREDIENTS: Cassava flour tortillas (all the cabs 🤤) Paleo coleslaw (green and red cabbage, carrots and home made avocado “mayonnaise”) a scoop of fresh quac and some shredded chicken! I use Cassava flour as  pre lifting carbs because I can’t eat grains so I have a difficult time getting all the fuel I need for my long lifting sessions. I also get tired of sweet potato sometimes 🤷🏼‍♀️ Loving the variety of foods 😍😍🤤🤤🤤 No grains all the gains 🙌🏼💕

Mijn ideale Foodilove dag
7.30 uur opstaan en ochtendritueel: ik zorg altijd voor 8 uur slaap zodat ik lekker fit wakker word en ik rustig de dag kan starten. Ik start bijna altijd met 2 grote glazen lauwwarm water met wat citroensap gevolgd door een lekkere kop koffie.
8.30 uur start werkdag en ontbijt: ik duik met nog een kop koffie achter mijn laptop in mijn thuis kantoor. Daarbij neem ik een schaaltje geitenyoghurt met 1 banaan, handjevol blauwe bessen en 2 eetlepels muesli. Dit eiwitrijke ontbijtje zorgt voor een goed verzadigd gevoel, dus een kickstart van mijn dag.
10.30 uur tussendoortje: cappuccino en een plakje herfst speculaas cake (yummie, ik heb nog een paar plakjes op in de vriezer).
13.00 uur lunch: ik maakte deze herfstsalade met peer, vijgen en geitenkaas nog een keertje.
15.00 uur sporten: ik sluit mijn werkdag af en duik een uurtje de sportschool in of maak lekker een wandeling als het mooi weer is. Wat een vrijheid dat thuiswerken 😉
16.00 uur tussendoortje: na een uurtje cardio training neem ik altijd een lekkere smoothie met eiwitpoeder. Dit keer maakte ik hem met amandelmelk, spinazie en diepvries mango blokjes.
18.00 uur diner: gezonde wortelsoep met een volkoren broodje met pompoen humus.
20.30 uur tussendoortje: schaaltje Alpro go on met een paar rozijnen en pecan noten.
Gedurende de dag drink ik altijd veel water en groene thee. Ik ben benieuwd of je het leuk vind om te lezen hoe mijn ideale dag eruit ziet en dat je inspiratie hebt opgedaan? Zoals je ziet zorg ik altijd voor een goede nachtrust, gezonde en gevarieerde voeding en voldoende beweging.
