So I am going to be doing a couple SP days this week! 🙌🏻 Excited to see what difference it makes on the scales, although I know I will miss my pasta and potatoes 😱🤣 I’m also doing this as I’m full of COLD so I need all of the extra fruit and vegetables! The change in the routine food, eating too many refined carbohydrates, reduced fluid and fiber are the chief reason of constipation.
It can cause hemorrhoids, fissures (painful cracks in the anal canal) and #indigestion with bloating.
Here are some great ways to avoid #constipation and stay healthy during Ramadan:
- Start your Iftar with 3 dates then have a soup dish.
- Divide your Iftar into small frequent portions, chew food slowly.
- Drink lots of water at least 2 L / day.
- Eat fresh #fruits and vegetables that are high in #fiber that may help to improve digestion process.
- Include oat to your daily diet. - Do some exercises after Iftar, walking 1/2 hr a day.
- Avoid stress, anxiety, spicy and fried food.
- Your #diet should contain high portion of vitamin B which help to regulate the function of intestine.
- Use medication that helps to relieve symptoms of constipation.

Wild Sockeye Salmon blended with some olive oil mayo, fresh cilantro or parsley, capers and to add some crunch I added walnuts and celery, sometimes I add some green apples and wrap it in a collard leaf or simply spread on celery sticks or cracker for a snack... Use sardines instead of salmon and add some avocado. Happy Thursday! •
