I had such a good lower body lift today. i mainly did a lot of compound movements and i increased the weight to most of them. i did 10 minuets on the stair master as my warmup and i loved it so much. besides me being scared that i'd trip and fall off it, it was soooo good. i kept going back & forth where i'd step on every step (normally) and when i skipped a step and both burned my legs like crazy! the only thing the gym didn't have was the leg press where you add the plates on it. but besides that i had a really good workout and the burn i got from it was crazyyyy.
I've been feeling so good about all my progress that i made in the gym && eating for my goals. i'm eating sooooo much more in a day then i used to when i started this journey. i've been eating so many carbs and thats so crazy to me because i used to try to cut all carbs out of my diet to lose weight or whatever. my goals from last summer to now have definitely changed and i keep getting closer & closer to them every day😊🤩 i alsooo did some meal prep today for this week coming up and that makes me so happy & feel "organized" lmao. it's just a really simple way of making sure i'm eating right & on track for my goals. anddd plus i hate wasting food so i'm like forced to eat what i've made. i went food shopping tonight and bought lots of fruits & veggies which is always good. i'm gonna make a lil protein smoothie right now and post the recipe on my story!! i just got this new protein powder from @optimumnutrition i got the "serious mass" in vanilla (boring flavor but this way i can add in smoothies, oats or pancakes w/o the flavor changing that much) and i'm sooo excited to see how it works for me && if i notice a difference with using it!
