checking off another country on my bucket list thanks to @travr.life. ⠀
• i c e l a n d •⠀
spending the next 6 days exploring all the beautiful waterfalls, beaches, glaciers this country has to offer. ⠀
2018 has been an amazing year of travel - 6 countries and 20 cities in 365 days. ⠀
i use to only dream about being able to travel this much and now i’m making it happen! ⠀
i truly don’t believe i would be where i am today had i not said yes to opportunities that crossed my path. opportunities that scared the hell out of me but i did them anyways. ⠀
our biggest growth comes from stepping outside of our comfort zone and i can say without a doubt 2018 has been the year of breaking free of that zone. ⠀
what are you doing today to break free of that comfort zone and step into your highest self? ⠀
tag a friend you want to travel with in 2019 ⤵️⠀
Never bend your head. always hold it high. look the world straight in the face.
Growing up, we had a red ford bronco very much like this one...except ours had a plow blade for the front. we lived out in the country, and we had about 10 neighbors back in our off the beaten track neighborhood that was not serviced by city or county snow removal. my dad selflessly plowed out all the neighbor’s driveways during our fierce minnesota winters, often starting at 3 am so folks would be able to get to work. thinking of you today, daddy. merry christmas!! ❄️🎄❄️

This wheel of emotions can help to express a feeling when writing both fiction and nonfiction.
cool fact: the wheel is often used by therapists to help their patients express themselves. in fact, my therapist gave me one while working on my ptsd.
