The Agafey desert, framed by the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, is breathtaking. And the hospitality of the INARA camp makes for a perfect way to spend a day. @inaracamp @__velvet.teddy__ The agafey desert, framed by the snow-capped atlas mountains, is breathtaking. and the hospitality of the inara camp makes for a perfect way to spend a day. @inaracamp @__velvet.teddy__

The Tarboosh is a symbol of Moroccan pride. The hat is more commonly known as a Fes outside of Morocco as this is the city where the red dye for the hats was historically sourced. Although Morocco was never part of the Ottoman Empire, the Fes spread throughout the Empire as part of a drive to replace the archaic turban in the 19th Century. And it became common throughout the Muslim world as a result. When the Ottoman Empire collapsed the Fes fell out of favour, and was even made illegal in Turkey in 1925. The tarboosh remains worn by the Moroccan Royal Court and Government. It also remains popular in South East Asia, particularly Indonesia, where it is known as a Rumi Topi, or Roman Headcap after the Ottomans. A cellist with the Metropolitan orchestra prepares to play in the Agafey desert. Despite its size, ‘-cello’ means ‘little’. The full name of the instrument is violoncello, as it is the smaller to a ‘violene’, which fell out of fashion in the 17th Century.
