Let's start a trend where everyday is earth day. what have you been doing lately to love the earth a bit more? imagine the ripple effect if we all just simply tried a little harder to be a little better 🌎 #earthday
I know, you're supposed to be on the raft, not dragging it behind you. but we had so much weight between the packrafts and our canyoneering gear that we opted to put half of it on the rafts and pull them up the first mile or two of coyote gulch. figured it was better to have the weight floating than on our backs. it worked out well!
here grace adjusts right near the confluence of coyote and the escalante. it was the end of our nine day packrafting trip down the escalante. all that separated us from a cold beer and pizza was a 13 mile sand slog through coyote gulch and hurricane wash (and a hopeful hitch down hole in the rock road). don't get me wrong, coyote gulch is amazing and beautiful. but with so much weight strapped on to us, it was hard to fully enjoy. makes me remember why i love ultralight backpacking so much in times like these!
