Sadly this was the condition of the interior frame of my beloved d610 after a very strong gust of wind toppled the tripod during a timelapse of an approaching mozambique storm.
this non-repairable fracture unfortunately brings my first camera to an end; one i wanted to keep for a lifetime. the dslr on which i learnt and developed everything photographic over the past 4 years, at my side for every journey. thank you for the memories, i wish i had got a shutter count on you! there are still 13,000 raws sitting in lightroom waiting for an edit... on to new things. on to the d750. 📸
What an awesome gift from an awesome guy, thanks so much, henry! i’m adding this to the collection and am looking forward to grinding through it one day.
thanks for the endless discussions and debates at londolozi, i hope to have more one day soon. keep well 👊
