Upper body circuit
circuits can make your workouts more intense, burn more calories, get your workout done faster, and add in cardio to your weight training.
4 rounds of:
1) one arm cable pulls x 15-20 reps each side - works back and biceps
2) straight legged deads to bicep curls x 10 - total body workout
3) lat pull downs with cable or bands in lunge position x 20 - lats, shoulders, chest, legs, total body
4) v rope face pulls x 20 - lats, back, rear delta and legs in squat position
5) 1 min sprints on stairs or treadmill
limit rest to 30 seconds between workouts and 60 seconds between rounds

who’s been working on that beach bod? my winter and spring only consisted of about 4 days a week weight training and most weeks limited cardio cuz i kept that diet tight. but if you’re you’re enjoying summer treats, like me haha, better get your sweat sesh in daily so you can still rock the beach bod! b a h a m a s take me b a c k! 😍

i know many of you have various reasons for being into fitness as do i but i think we would be kidding ourselves if we didn’t agree that we started our fitness journey originally or mostly intending to have better aesthetics. to develop more confidence, to feel sexy, strong, lean, and healthy. what i love about athletic, toned or strong bodies is you can see the countless hours of training, blood, sweat, tears, reps, dedication to diet by putting it on display. the body will reflect how you treat it and it becomes more sculpted the more disciplined you become. so beyond the superficial sexiness, it demonstrates discipline, consistency, persistence, strength and conquering all the excuses and obstacles put before you. which imho makes fit bodies all that much sexier! you can become the sculptor of your own masterpiece. what do y’all think?

Short on time on leg day?
try this quick leg circuit!
3 or 4 rounds of:
1) good mornings 15-20 reps
2) split squats 8-12 reps each leg
3) weighted jump squats 20 reps
4) straight legged deads 12-15 reps
i posted these videos raw and real! no edits to show you when we train hard in gym the workouts aren’t always pretty and perfect. i lost my balance on weighted jump squats (which happens often but i get right back at them). i also had to find my balance doing split squats so never feel bad if this happens to you at the gym. you are there for progress, not perfection! and everyone there should be proud of you for even going, so never feel scared or intimidated, as my clients have often confided in me with those feelings. you deserve to be there just as much as anyone else, and the results only come by trial and error.
Bahamas with these little and not so little pigs was definitely an adventure! the tour guides kept saying the pigs like to bite juicy butts so don’t turn around! after one of them started chasing me down the beach squealing i started regretting all the years worth of squats 😂. here’s me keeping my distance and hiding the b**t gains 🙈. 📷| @theiobot
