- handful of frozen zucchini (yes there is even hidden greens)
- handful of frozen banana - 1/2 avocado 🥑 - 1 tsp nut butter
- serving of @botanikablends cacao hazelnut plant protein 🍿 (this is where the ferro tastes comes in)
- 150ml almond milk 🥛
blend all together!!

Something i love learning about is making healthy food swaps... 🤔 especially when i’m concocting my healthy treats in the kitchen!! 🍰🍪 one of my favs is swapping cocoa (used in most chocolate based baking) for cacao instead... at first i thought these were the same thing (notice how similar the spelling is?) 😂 however, i came to learn that cacao is the most natural form of “chocolate” you can get! unlike cocoa, it goes through a minimal refined process and contains much more beneficial nutrients as a result!! 💁🏼♀️

i have been getting acupuncture sessions for the last year and i am not exaggerating when i say it has changed my life! ✨ acupuncture was the biggest factor in me getting my cycle regular before my wedding! 👏🏼 now i get acupuncture for 💫 stress & anxiety 💫 hormonal imbalances 💫 skin issues 💫 energy plus my personality is very go, go, go... and i find our sessions keep me mindful & get me to chill which my nervous system always needs! i can’t recommend acupuncture enough to anyone who wants to improve their health and wellbeing! 🌱 i see arna from @greenstoneacu & it is honestly my favourite time of the week 🙏🏼
Let's talk "winter weight"... i had a young girl dm expressing she had put on a few kg's during winter and asked what she could do to lose them... does anyone else feel the same way??
for years i would fight my body, get annoyed if i put on weight during winter & as soon as spring came around freak out that i had to lose them quickly! 🤦🏼♀️ over the years you know what i have learned? yes naturally i tend to put on a few extra kg's through winter but i also naturally tend to lose them again during summer 💁🏼♀️☀️ it’s normal! if you think about it... it makes sense! during the cold i’m drawn to warm delicious foods to warm me up 🍲 wheres in summer i much prefer fresh salads with cold foods & tend to want to move more! 🥗🍢
i'll be the first to admit that i spent a lot of years fighting this natural cycle throughout seasonal change, but i am now proud to say that i have accepted that my body will do it's own thing naturally 💁🏼♀️ because it's looking out for me and knows what i need! so dw gf’s no need to freak out, trust your body knows best & go with it 💖
